The sound system in the LBJ gym needs to be replaced and we are
hoping to get LBJ/LASA alums to help fund it. Please send
this link to alums and anyone you think might want to give: https://edbacker.com/c/loud-and-proud-sound-system
Our goal is to have the new sound system in place by the first pep
rally in the fall.
All funds will be deposited into an account managed by the LBJ
book keeper just for the sound system.

The freshman pre-AP English classes will be having a
character potluck for their final exams. During the scheduled
final, students will adopt the persona of a character from a piece
of literature that the class has read this year and be assessed on
their responses to various questions that the teachers and other
characters may pose to them. Afterwards, they will enjoy a potluck
as a way to celebrate their hard work this year.
They are in need of enough plates, cups, napkins, and eating
utensils for the freshman class, which is about 360 students. Sign
